Icebug continually strives to create shoes with minimal climate impact, making the use of natural and recycled materials fundamental. When it comes to Loe, the outsole contains recycled rubber, while the insole and lining are made of bluesign®-certified polyester made from recycled PET bottles. The midsole is constructed of a natural material called BloomFoam. This foam is made from algae from eutrophied lakes which purifies water and reduces oil use at the same time. Climate responsible, check.

Icebug is the world's first climate-positive manufacturer of outdoor shoes and follows the UN's Climate Neutral Now initiative. We measure the entire company's greenhouse gas emissions, reduce them as far as possible and annually compensate for the emissions that cannot be removed by investing in UN-certified projects that reduce greenhouse gases.
